As we know, dogs are descended from wolves and are pack animals. They are totally reliant on their natural instincts, within the pack, to operate and survive. They need to feel safe and secure within their pack. We often give our dogs confusing signals as to their role in our 'pack' and usually make/let them believe that they are the Pack Leader(s) instead of us. This is where the problems start as dogs are unable to cope with the pressure and stress of looking after a pack in a world (the human world) they just do not understand. Picture from 'The Quetico Foundation Canada' If your dog
cries/destroys the house when you are out bites you, guests or other dogs jumps on you or guests refuses to come when called barks “ALL” the time soils the house fears Thunderstorms or other loud noises "drags" you instead of walking at your side has obsessive behaviours is a fussy eater
Then he has taken on the role of pack leader and cannot cope with it….. When we understand why our dog does what he does then we can change our behaviour to influence him .... Through “Amichien® Bonding" I give you some simple tools which will allow your dog to elect you as the leader, in other words you become the “Alpha". Then you and your dog can start to live the life that both you and he deserve. |
